Boschendal is one of the oldest wine farms in the Cape and the original homestead is where you get to sample their wines. The Cellar Door offers light meals & Rhone homestead offers traditional buffets on Sundays as well as a picnic in the Rhone garden.
Wine tasting takes place in the beautiful garden under ancient oaks at Grande Provence which are sprinkled with beautiful Sculptures and an Art Gallery. The restaurant is Asian-inspired. Cheetah Outreach at Grande Provence offers encounters where you get to interact with these majestic animals and all proceeds go to ensuring their survival.
Haute Cabriere’s tasting deck has just been upgraded and offers spectacular views of the valley, Thier tastings are generous and their service is friendly. They also offer lunch and snacks.
Le petit Ferme is situated above the town, with spectacular views of the valley. Lunch is served under 300-year-old oaks and they offer a vine orientation which includes a tour of the vineyards, 6 wines varietals, with canapes. It’s just heavenly here, I find it hard to get everyone back in the van.
